Station Training Videos

A training DVD is available to help you prepare for ContentDepot installation and operations at your station. All stations received a copy of the DVD with your equipment. The chapters can also be viewed online:

Online Training Modules

Our online training modules give an overview of the PRSS ContentDepot. Some of these modules require the Flash Player Plug-in. Each module takes approximately 15-25 minutes.

1. ContentDepot 101 for Producers
   An Overview of ContentDepot concepts, features, and benefits
   (Requires Flash and audio. If you do not have audio, a print version of the module content is available.)

2. Moving Sound Around: Digital Sound Files and the ContentDepot
   Are your digital sound files ready for the ContentDepot? Learn how to take advantage of new technologies to convert and more efficiently deliver your files to the PRSS.

3. Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
   Does your station have a business continuity (aka: disaster recovery) plan? If not, this module can help you get started.

4. ContentDepot Operations Workshops   
   In Fall 2004, NPR Distribution conducted a series of six station operations workshops at regional meetings across the country. These workshops gave participants a general overview of the ContentDepot. The materials from those workshops are available.
