NPR Satellite Services® is proud to offer national and international satellite equipment providers from ComStream, Prodelin, and other noted manufacturers. To order public radio equipment, please download the order form. Please sign the front, initial the Terms and Conditions on the back, and return the form by mail. For more information regarding equipment sales (satellite dishes, LNBs, and much more), please contact the Business Affairs office at 202.513.2618 or via email at prssbusiness@npr.org.

In addition, our Satellite Equipment and Maintenance Repair Depot is available to help troubleshoot and/or repair problems you might experience with your equipment.




Classical Public Radio Network

Instructions for Ordering an ABR202 for the Classical Public Radio Network
  1. Download the Equipment Agreement and the Attachment A.
  2. Sign both documents and return them (with payment or Purchase Order) to:

    National Public Radio, Inc
    Distribution Division - Business Affairs
    635 Massachusetts Ave, NW
    Washington, DC 20001

    Or fax them to 202.513.3035, Attention: Business Affairs

  3. If you are L-band connected you will not need to order a PLL-LNB.
  4. If you are not L-band connected and you are a PRSS interconnected station you may be eligible for upgrade to L-band under the ETRP project. Contact Iris Washington (202.513.2674) to determine eligibility.

Radio Reading Services


Instructions for Ordering an ABR202 for Radio Reading Services
  1. Download the Equipment Agreement and the Attachment A.
  2. Sign both documents and return them (with payment or Purchase Order) to:

    Or fax them to 202.513.3035, Attention: Business Affairs

  3. If you are L-band connected you will not need to order a PLL-LNB.
  4. If you are not L-band connected and you are a PRSS interconnected station you may be eligible for upgrade to L-band under the ETRP project.

  5. You may choose to have In Touch or MPR as the default channel. If you use more than one service, you may need to purchase a channel selector switch. Switching between channels may also be accomplished using remote control. This will not allow you to receive programming simultaneously from different services—if you need simultaneous programming, you will need to purchase additional receivers.
