Pacifica Radio Archives

Distributes a selected range of programs and series produced by both Pacifica network stations and independent producers, 1949-. Distributes programming via public radio satellite system to interconnected stations, MP3 and via CD/tape to the other stations.

PRX Public Radio Exchange

PRX is public radio's largest source of on-demand programming. A nonprofit service for distribution, review, and licensing of radio content, PRX brings new voices to the airwaves, creates new revenue for producers, and helps stations assemble diverse and exceptional programming. As of 2007 Stations have licensed over 20,000 pieces from PRX, resulting in over half a million dollars in royalty payments to producers. In addition to stations, PRX also helps producers license work to iTunes, Audible.com, podcasts and other emerging platforms. Public Radio Satellite System (PRSS)

Satellite distribution service open to all producers and distributors of non-commercial programming. A $25 registration fee covers publications and marketing services associated with distribution. Registered sources may also submit multimedia entries to the ContentDepot. Distribution to all interconnected public radio stations, regardless of affiliation. Distribution to commercial networks also possible. Fees charged for satellite uplink and channel space. Getting Started Kit available.
