Program Announcement
When a program is placed on the schedule, an announcement is sent to all stations. The program announcement might be the first time stations have heard of the program, or it might confirm information they have received from other sources. The announcement should describe the program and include such critical information as on-air funding credits and station use rights. It is helpful to the stations to have the message sent as far in advance of the program's transmission as possible. The format for program announcements should generally conform to the following:
