Round Three STC Externs Selected

NPR Distribution is pleased to announce the selection of two individuals for round 3 of the 2003 System Technical Center (STC) Experience Externship. The STC Externship Selection Committee awarded externships to Doug Rowe of WCAL Radio, St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota and Janice Keplin of KEYA Public Radio in Belcourt, North Dakota. They will visit NPR headquarters in Washington, DC, September 17–25, 2003, where they will learn about network operations and content distribution in the Public Radio Satellite System (PRSS). The externs will also experience all three shifts of the STC's 24-hour operation.
