Round Two STC Externs Selected

NPR Distribution is pleased to announce the selection of two individuals for round 2 of the 2003 System Technical Center (STC) Experience Externship. The STC Externship Selection Committee awarded externships to Mike Black of WEOS-FM, Geneva, New York and Jerald White of WURC-FM, Holly Springs, Mississippi. They will visit NPR headquarters in Washington, DC, June 18–26, 2003, where they will learn about network operations and content distribution in the Public Radio Satellite System (PRSS). The externs will also experience all three shifts of the STC's 24-hour operation.
