Round One STC Externs Selected

NPR Distribution has selected two individuals for Round One of the 2003 System Technical Center (STC) Experience Externships. The STC Selection Committee awarded externships to Victoria St. John of Vermont Public Radio and David Sluberski of WXXI Public Broadcasting, Rochester, New York. Victoria and David will receive airfare, lodging, and meals during Round 1, February 26–March 6, 2003. They will learn about network operations and content distribution in the PRSS and experience all three shifts of the STC's 24-hour operation.

Two more rounds of externships will be held during 2003. The application deadline for Round Two (held June 18–26, 2003) is May 9, 2003. If you have any questions or need more information email prsplanning@npr.org.
