ContentDepot® for Stations

The ContentDepot® is designed to handle both live streams and pre-recorded programs. This is a significant change from the previous PRSS system. In the ContentDepot, only live programs are streamed. Programs that are recorded ahead of time (stored) are uploaded into the ContentDepot and subsequently downloaded into a station's satellite receiver.

The ContentDepot station platform provides storage and helps station automation systems handle real-time automation and processing. Under the ContentDepot, files are delivered to satellite receivers, so station automation systems can extract the files and deliver them to air.
